Cuevas Segarra is a law firm in Puerto Rico that needed an updated website to better reflect its professionalism and evolving services. In addition to improving the visual presentation, the firm was beginning to offer legal publications and required a website that could also function as a reliable point of purchase for clients interested in their books.

the challenge
The previous website, developed by another web design agency, used a very dark color palette with low contrast between text and background, making the content difficult to read and less accessible for visitors. The structure of the site did not clearly guide users through the firm’s services or highlight the introduction of legal publications now available for purchase.

The firm needed a website that would maintain a professional appearance while also supporting a new function as a purchasing point for books. In addition, the structure needed to allow for future publications to be added easily as the firm continues to grow its library of resources.

A modern, structured website was developed to improve clarity, readability, and overall user experience. The design uses a more refined color palette and improved contrast to enhance accessibility and professionalism, helping visitors easily find important information about the attorney’s services. The website was also expanded to include a dedicated section for publications, allowing clients and visitors to conveniently learn about and purchase the attorney’s books directly from the site. The new structure was planned with scalability in mind, making it easy to add future publications as they become available, ensuring the website can continue to grow alongside the attorney’s work.

The homepage introduces the lawyer through a prominent hero section featuring a large professional photo, creating an immediate sense of trust and credibility. The layout is structured to clearly present the firm’s services, experience, and recognitions, while improved color contrast enhances readability and accessibility.

The page also supports the promotion of the lawyer’s publications, providing a clear path for visitors to explore and purchase available books. The structure was designed to be flexible, allowing future publications to be added as the firm continues to grow.

About
The About page was designed to present the lawyer’s professional background in a clear and credible way, reinforcing trust through both content and visual presentation. A structured layout highlights key elements such as experience, biography, and recognitions, helping visitors understand the depth of knowledge and qualifications behind the firm.

Professional photographs were incorporated to create a more personal connection while maintaining a formal tone appropriate for the legal field. The page organizes detailed information in a readable format, allowing visitors to easily learn about the lawyer’s career, achievements, and contributions to the legal profession.

Publications
The Publications page was designed to present the lawyer’s books in a clear and professional format, supporting the website’s role as a point of purchase for clients interested in legal resources. The layout highlights featured publications with prominent book visuals and structured descriptions, allowing visitors to easily learn about each title and access additional information.

The page also includes a section for other legal publications, organized in a flexible grid that allows future books to be added without affecting the overall design. The result is a clean and organized presentation that reinforces the lawyer’s expertise while supporting the promotion and growth of his published work.

order page
The Order Books page was designed to provide a clear and simple process for purchasing the lawyer’s publications directly from the website. The layout presents each book with essential information, pricing, and visible call-to-action buttons that guide users through the ordering process.

Multiple purchase options were included, such as online payment and alternative ordering methods, ensuring flexibility for different user preferences. The structure allows additional publications to be added easily in the future, supporting the continued growth of the lawyer’s collection while maintaining a consistent and professional presentation.
